Summary of the specifics.
I gave 2 presentations during the course of my internship. The final presentation which was given before the Vice Presidents and the senior managers was the major criteria. After the presentations the decision was made with the help of the direct supervisors who guide us and help us resolve the problems faced by us during the internship.
Due to the virtual settings I didn’t have any significant interaction with my co-interns so I don’t know what their particular projects were and the way they interacted with their team.
I honestly do not know as internships in our batch were affected by COVID so the ratio was slightly higher since they didn’t come that early for placements this time.
Just do your best, work hard and show your interest in the work by being regular. One thing that I did was regularly updating my supervisor about the work I was doing. I used to send a summary of the work done by me on a regular basis so that he knew in the virtual setting that I was working on the project.
I honestly don’t think so. I feel it was solely based on my work there and the communication skills that I displayed, the presentation I gave. It’s not the seniors that mattered so much as the supervisors and Vice Presidents saw the work quality.
I gave a mid-term presentation and a final presentation. The senior management took the decision on the basis of these presentations.
