Policies regarding PPOs?
It was not a difficult decision for me. A PPO from P&G, a fortune 500, in the field of supply chain management is a massive opportunity to build my career. I loved my work as an intern and got a lot of appreciation and support at each step during the internship. The work ethics and the culture of P&G is second to none. All these things help me made my mind on choosing the company before the placement season.
-First of all, you need understand the exact deliverables and be effective in your communication
-Be a bit bold but practical while solving the problem
-Keep discussing your approach and day to day work with the seniors in the company and don’t shy away from asking for help
-Brush up your presentation and excel skills
Online evaluation + interview for getting intern
- An 8 week assignment with a defined objective related to the plant I was assigned
- Mid term and final presentation evaluated by senior level managers and the team I
worked with
Sincerity and work quality is of utmost importance but good relationship helps you to get out of some tricky situations where you are stuck in your work and couldn’t find the right way. But it is almost impossible to just rely on relations as the final decision is made by consulting many people in the company and your work will only have to speak for you.
-Role and the work assigned
-Work ethics of the company
-Kind of exposure given to us
-Working hours of the company
-Compensation given

-The way I was able to effectively collaborate with the team to solve the problem rather than working in a shell
-I approached my project structurally evaluating all the pitfalls alongside which made my recommendation directly implementable
- Finally, I worked for a week just on my presentation so that I could effectively communicate the work I have done
No, in P&G, they don’t have a fixed number. By and large it depends on your performance. HR’s might have a ballpark figure in mind but evaluation is done by the team assigned to you based on the peak performance factors decided globally which includes your communication and leadership skills.
